The Cubs bullpen has suddenly gotten a few different options in there. Barrett has upside, I think Reed holds on and he's young enough to be there awhile but I think Barrett might be forcing some hands in AZ. As for Folty, that's a really good question for Craig Goldstein. I think he's got a lot of reliever tendencies but I still leave room for development. (Mauricio Rubio)

There's no way to project whether or not someone will be a closer. He once had the stuff to close games and still could, but being a closer is about opportunity. Impossible to predict. As much as I hate limiting an arm like his to 50-to-70 innings, you have to look at it this way: getting those innings-and they would be high-leverage innings-is better than getting nothing. There's a lot to like about Bauer and there's a good ceiling there, but he's very far away so projectability is all he has for the moment. Vizcaino also the potential to be special and is closer to the majors now, so I'd probably take him, all else equal. (Derek Carty)

What are some red flags? (Matt A from Raleigh)	In a pitcher, you want to see that the "stuff" is present. Does the FB have zip? Does the breaking ball offer sharp break? Does the arm work the same? COmmand is usually the last thing that comes back with a pitcher, so you would look for glimpses of that as well. red flags for me would stem from the arm and how it was working. Did the mechanics change? Is the action still easy? Lots of things to look for. (Jason Parks)
