DateQuestionAnswer
2016-09-08 19:00:00 (link to chat)For those of us in single season head to head playofffs, would you please speculate on who we should pickup for the last month of the season to help during those matchups (esp SPs)?
(Truganini from Co)
I'll give you two names that are still available in a ton of leagues that I've found exceptionally useful over the past few weeks. The Mets Seth Lugo and Pirates Ivan Nova. As far as hitters go, I'd try to go after Royals specialist Terrance Gore if you need steals. If you're looking for an offensive contributor, I'd target Rockies OF Raimel Tapia. (George Bissell)
2016-09-07 19:00:00 (link to chat)What does Champ Stuart need to do to become Billy Hamilton?
(Gavin from Chelsea)
Champ is an 80 runner, but he isn't Billy Hamilton fast, because Billy Hamilton is borderline off the 20-80 scale. And he's a long way from even hitting Hamilton's empty .260.

Stuart should also probably be on the Mets expanded roster right now, because he absolutely could be Terrance Gore right now, and the Mets are using guys like Ty Kelly and Gsellman to pinch-run. (Jarrett Seidler)
2014-10-20 16:00:00 (link to chat)If teams can carry 13 pitchers in the regular season, why can't someone carry 12 plus Terrance Gore?
(HW from MO)
They could, but I think it's perceived that having the additional pitcher is a better use of the roster spot. Whether that is correct or not is perhaps an interesting question for future study. (Rob Arthur)
2013-11-25 13:00:00 (link to chat)Hi Jason, Are there any elite speed prospects who hit well enough that you are confident they will be full time starters in the majors?
(Cal Guy from Cal)
Buxton is an elite speed prospect, so yes. Other than Buxton? Its thin. Terrance Gore is one of the fastest humans I've ever seen, and doubt he hits enough to be a full-time starter. Hamilton has the best chance of the speed-first types. (Jason Parks)
2013-07-25 13:00:00 (link to chat)Welcome Back. Is Terrance Gore a lock to be on KC's 2014 Top 10? Guy to watch? How close is the speed to Hamilton's?
(Jonah from Brooklyn)
He's an 8 runner; no doubt. Not sure if he's a top ten guy, as that system is still really, really good. Definitely a fun player to watch; future bench OF with catalytic speed. (Jason Parks)
