2019-08-16 12:00:00 (link to chat) | Any of these guys look like they could be more than #5s? Peter Lambert, Bryan Abreu, Jose Suarez, Adbert Alzolay, Lewis Thorpe, Logan Webb (GB%!), Joe Palumbo? (The Colonel from Pasadena, CA) | I like Lambert, but it's a brutal profile for Coors. Palumbo is the obvious one there to me. Alzolay has upside well past a number 5, but significant reliever risk. (Jeffrey Paternostro) |
2018-01-31 14:00:00 (link to chat) | Are guys like Bryse Wilson, Adbert Alzolay, and Andres Giminez in your top 100? If not, how close are they? (Fantasy player from Easton, pa) | The 101 should be coming pretty soon, so all questions will be answered. I would guess Giminez might get the closest. If not the top 100, then the 100 after that. If not, then definitely the 100 after that. (Mark Barry) |
2017-08-17 13:00:00 (link to chat) | Which of the newly-heralded Cubs SP prospects gets to Wrigley first? Which, if any ,project as middle of the rotation or better? (Matt from Chicago) | Adbert Alzolay is the answer to the second, in my opinion. To the first, I guess it's either Alzolay or Trevor Clifton. (Dillon Maples is the next prospect who'll grace a Wrigley Field mound, but obviously, that's purely as a reliever.) (Matthew Trueblood) |
2017-08-21 13:00:00 (link to chat) | How soon can one of the Cubs P prospects help our their rotation? Any of those guys have mid rotation or better upside? (Matt from Chicago) | And one more the Jarrett Seidler BP Chat, hosted by Rob Mains:
"Adbert Alzolay and Trevor Clifton are mid-rotation upside guys that could help in a year or two." Three takeaways: (1) Jarrett is really good at this stuff. (2) All of you asking me prospects questions: Start a petition to have Jarrett do a chat. (3) I have no idea whether Alzolay and Clifton are real people. But I have faith in Jarrett! (Rob Mains) |
