2015-07-16 20:00:00 (link to chat)Hey George. I know these prospects are very far away and may never make it but what would your order be of Travis Demeritte, Jhoan Urena, Miguel Andujar, and Victor Robles for a Dynasty League? Any thoughts on them?
(kiper90 from Rochester, NY)
Victor Robles is getting a ton of love lately and for good reason. Our prospect staff loves him. He's still light years away at just 18 but he's a plus, plus runner with above average pop...He's a definite sleeper...If Demeritte ever figures out the strikeout problems which have plagued him, there's a ton of power there at 2B to like. (George Bissell)
2015-07-06 13:00:00 (link to chat)Do you think the Mets aggressive move to have Rosario skip Hi-A has hurt him at all? Is the fact that he's holding his own in St. Lucie a big thing in his favor?
(Carlos from Long Island)
Yes, he's surviving it ok, I just don't get the benefit from doing it. The same can't be said about Jhoan Urena, who I really like as a player but has looked lost this year. He's drowning in St. Lucie right now. (Jeff Moore)
2015-06-18 13:00:00 (link to chat)Who in your opinion has the highest offensive ceiling of these three 3B prospects: Matt Chapman, Jomar Reyes, or Jhoan Urena? Can they stick at 3B at major league level?
(fightingmoose from Manitoba, Canada)
For the sake of you getting an accurate response, I would suggest asking one of the prospect team members-Crawford, for instance. (R.J. Anderson)
2014-03-17 13:00:00 (link to chat)I saw your writeup of 3B Jhoan Urena this morning. I love newfound prospects. If you were to anticipate, what would be a best case Comp. for him and where do you think he will rank at the end of the year amongst all prospects?
(Silverback38 from VA)
It's so hard to put comps on guys that are this far away, but my first thought when I saw him was, "I wonder if this is what Pablo Sandoval would've looked like if had been in better shape." He's a bigger guy too but moves well with it, switch-hits and plays third base so that's about the best I could do for a guy so far away. Has to prove the hit tool is that good, but it's got a chance. Love the swing from the left side, waiting to see him face a lefty one of these days. (Jeff Moore)
2014-03-17 13:00:00 (link to chat)better third base prospect. Jhoan Urena or Miguel Andujar?
(Mike from Miami)
Haven't seen Andujar in person yet and with the really young guys I like to see them for myself. I do really like Urena, though. Will make a point to see Andujar in the GCL this summer. (Jeff Moore)
