  • Jesus Aguilar, 1B, Indians (High-A Carolina): 3-for-4, 2B, 2 HR (9), 3 R, 4 RBI. 260-pound first baseman can hit and has plus power; .310/.394/.515 in 70 games.
  • Jeremy Baltz, OF, Padres (Short-season Eugene): 3-for-5, 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI, K. Second-round pick has hitting ability but is a bit of a bat-only type for some; .370/.393/.481 in first six pro games.
  • Archie Bradley, RHP, Diamondbacks (Low-A South Bend): 4.2 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 6 BB, 5 K. Control has completely abandoned him at times; 3.79 ERA with 65 Ks, 50 BB in 73.2 innings.
  • Jackie Bradley, OF, Red Sox (Double-A Portland): 3-for-5, 2 BB, K. Showing no signs of slowing down at Double-A; .360/.448/.520 in first six Eastern League games.

  • Corey Brown, OF, Nationals (Triple-A Syracuse): 2-for-5, HR (17), 2 R, RBI, 3 K. First home run in 15 games, but still hitting for average; .298/.388/.578 in 72 games and deserving of another shot.
  • Gavin Cecchini, SS, Mets (Rookie-level Kingsport): 2-for-4, 3B, RBI, K. First-round pick was 1-for-11 in first three games, but 7-for-18 since.
  • Gerrit Cole, RHP, Pirates (Double-A Altoona): 1 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 0 BB, 2 K. First bad start of the year; pulled after 33-pitch inning.
  • Kevin Comer, RHP, Blue Jays (Rookie-level Bluefield): 4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K. 2011 supplemental first-rounder has big frame, plus velo and promising curveball.
  • Clint Coulter, C, Brewers (Rookie-level AZL Brewers): 2-for-4, 3B, HR (1), R, 3 RBI, BB. First pro hits for first-round pick who went 0-for-10 in first three games.
  • Caleb Cowart, 3B, Angels (High-A Inland Empire): 3-for-4, 3B, RBI, K. 7-for-18 (.389) in six games since promotion; showing excellent barrel control from both sides of the plate.
  • Cheslor Cuthbert, 3B, Royals (High-A Wilmington): 2-for-4, HR (5), 2 R, 4 RBI, K. Bat is waking up, but just a little bit; still just .227/.301/.331 on the season.
  • David Dahl, OF, Rockies (Rookie-level Grand Junction): 3-for-5, 2 3B, 2 R, 5 RBI. First-round pick is putting balls in play with just one walk and one strikeout in 30 plate appearances; .321/.367/.536 in six games.
  • Alex Dickerson, 1B, Pirates (High-A Bradenton): 2-for-4, 2B, HR (5), R, 2 RBI, K. One of the hottest hitters in the FSL with 977 June OPS; .294/.361/.424 season line still is a bit short for a 1B prospect.
  • Ramon Flores, OF, Yankees (High-A Tampa): 3-for-4, 2 HR (4), 3 R, 2 RBI. Corner outfielder profile with outstanding approach and swing but little power; .351 in June and .292/.355/.389 overall.
  • Wilmer Font, RHP, Rangers (High-A Myrtle Beach): 5 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 8 K. Big Venezuela with big arm and long injury history might be finally putting things together; 21 IP, 10 H, 6 BB, 25 K in last four starts.
  • Jedd Gyorko, 2B, Padres (Triple-A Tucson): 4-for-5, 2B, HR (9), 2 R, 5 RBI. Not sure what the Padres are waiting for; .329/.369/.575 in 38 games.
  • Corban Joseph, 2B, Yankees (Triple-A Empire State): 3-for-3, 3 2B, R, BB. Hard to find a future for him in New York, but scouts like the approach and gap power; .269/.375/.495 in 25 games since promotion.
  • C.J. McElroy, OF, Cardinals (Rookie-level Johnson City): 3-for-4, 3B, 3 R, BB, SB. 2011 third-round pick has plus-plus speed; .355/.375/.452 in seven games.
  • Alen Hanson, 2B, Pirates (Low-A West Virginia): 1-for-3, HR (11), 2 R, 2 RBI, 2 BB. 19-year-old Dominican has shown shocking power and is heating up again; 8-for-18 with 15 total bases in last five games and .324/.389/.578 overall.
  • Aaron Hicks, OF, Twins (Double-A New Britain): 3-for-4, 3B, R, RBI, CS. Some progress here, but is it enough? .302 in June and .257/.347/.419 overall.
  • Manny Machado, SS, Orioles (Double-A Bowie): 2-for-4, HR (5), 2 R, 3 RBI. Every peripheral rate stat up significantly in June and scouts still love him; .256/.339/.396 in 74 games.
  • Deven Marrero, SS, Red Sox (Short-season Lowell): 1-for-4, HR (1), R, RBI, K. First pro home run for first-round pick; 6-for-12 in first three games.
  • Starling Marte, OF, Pirates (Triple-A Indianapolis): 2-for-5, HR (7), R, 2 RBI, CS. Could be getting close to a look with a 872 OPS in June; .270/.331/.460 in 72 games.
  • Tyler Naquin, OF, Indians (Short-season Mahoning Valley): 3-for-4, 2B, R, 2 RBI, BB. First-round pick is 7-for-16 in first four pro games.
  • Ariel Ovando, OF, Astros (Rookie-level Greenville): 2-for-4, 2B, R, RBI, K. No home runs but half of 12 hits have gone for extra bases; .387/.441/.613 in eight games.
  • Kyle Parker, OF, Rockies (High-A Modesto): 2-for-5, 2B, HR (6), R, 3 RBI, K. 2010 first-round pick has turned into walk machine with disappointing power; .281/.402/.464 in 41 games.
  • Aaron Sanchez, RHP, Blue Jays (Low-A Lansing): 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K. Longest outing of season; 0.69 ERA in 52 innings with 56 Ks and .155 opponent's average.

  • Lucas Sims, RHP, Braves (Rookie-level GCL Braves): 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K. Pro debut for first-round pick.
  • Travis Snider, OF, Blue Jays (Triple-A Las Vegas): 2-for-3, 2B, 2 R, RBI, 2 BB. 1050 OPS since returning to Triple-A from injury and .336/.420/.606 overall.
  • Will Swanner, C, Rockies (Low-A Asheville): 2-for-5, R, 2 RBI, K. Scouts give him little chance to stay at catcher but he sure can hit; .340/.422/.593 in 47 games.
  • Jose Urena, RHP, Marlins (Low-A Greensboro): 7 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K. Longest start of year, but not the breakout many expected; 3.00 ERA with 49 Ks in 66 innings.

  • Allen Webster, RHP, Dodgers (Double-A Jacksonville): 7 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 3 BB, 5 K. Brief move to the bullpen seems to have paid some dividends; 4.39 ERA overall but 1.61 in five starts since return to rotation.
  • Jesse Winker, OF, Reds (Rookie-level Billings): 3-for-3, 2B, R, RBI, 2 BB, CS. Supplemental first-round pick has plus bat and potential for power; .357/.472/.429 in eight games.
