Povich doesn't blow hitters away with premium stuff but he's more than just a typical soft-tossing, under-slot, college lefty. He displays knowledge of pitch sequencing and mixes his pitches well to keep hitters off-balance. With expected velocity gains for the fastball and continued development of the secondaries Povich profiles as a future back of the rotation starter.
