A good offering, pairs well with both the curve and changeup. The command could be better, but by no means is it bad. He's able to locate well, but the velocity in the lower numbers without elite command keeps this tempered. |

On any given night, this is Winn's best pitch. Despite the velo separation not being as ideal, the drop on it more than makes up for it. It's a hard pitch for hitters to pick up, and with its similarities to the CV it keeps opposing batters off balance. Winn commands it well, with a consistently good feel. |

A contract to the vertical movement of Winn's other two secondaries, the slider is a good offering. It's no frisbee movement wise, but it's enough to get swings and misses. For a fourth pitch, more than fine. |

When it's not the changeup, it's the curve that is Winn's best offering. A strong shape and break that gets swinging strikes. Not quite a hammer or 12-6, but still quite good. |

Winn has come back from injury with a vengeance, tearing up Double A before the organization started limiting his innings around the All Star Break. At this pace, Winn will be a mid rotation major league starter. A pretty good one at that. There's some variation in his future; the fastball regressing and the slider not progressing could hinder his ceiling. That say they could get better, though the slider has more room to improve. If the changeup and curve maintain their quality, it should keep Winn in a rotation for a good while.
