Winckowski has a classic starter's build, tall and athletic with some growth projection remaining. The fastball and change combination play well off each other both having some swing-and-miss qualities and projecting to be above average. If he can find some consistency to the slider, he profiles as a back of the rotation arm. Without, there is still enough to become a high-leverage setup man in the bullpen.
