Always throws from windup. Repeatable delivery with long, circular arm motion. Brings arm below waist and throws over the top, creating solid downhill plane. Quick front leg that peaks at lower waist. Not much bend in back knee, and could engage lower half a little more. Time to plate is 1.3-1.4 seconds. Wore emotions on his sleeve. |

A big fastball with strong velocity, late life, and tail. Can generate solid swing and miss. Has yet to harness average command of the pitch. and leaned on it too much. |

11/5 break with minimal horizontal movement. Broke sharp, late and hard. Very little present command of pitch. Threw in to lefties and away to righties. |

Most advanced pitch in arsenal. Plus tail and downward movement. Good command and feel. Will be a big swing-and-miss pitch once fastball command improves. No difference in arm speed, and threw to both lefty and righty batters. |
There is plenty of upside with Medina. With his high-end fastball and two potential plus off-speed pitches, he could be a frontline starter. But all that hinges on his ability to consistently throw strikes, and he will need to gain more confidence in his stuff and overall ability as a pitcher. At the least, he is on the right track to be a high-leverage bullpen arm.
