Pitch Type Future Grade Sitting Velocity Peak Velocity Report
Fastball 40 87 89 35-grade raw arm-strength plays up a tick due to control/command and feel to mix pitches. Establishes FB early w/ fair armside tail at finish. Strong-average control/command of FB; no margin for error; always will have to be fine within zone.
Curveball 40 74 76 Slow, early-showing, loopy CB; good job landing for strikes; big spin/rotation with deep 11-5 tilt. Manipulates the grip for more of a sweepy, lateral tilt against LHBs. Usable breaking ball; to-contact pitch.
Changeup 40 82 83 Workable third pitch; throws often, especially RHBs; fair arm-speed sell in the front; smaller arm-side turnover fade at finish.
Control 55     Solid pitchability; mixes pitches and counts; pounds the zone and limits walks in low minors. As he climbs the ladder will need to continue to be fine on the margins; might have to pitch outside the zone w/ intent against more advanced hitters given below-avg stuff.

Below-avg stuff LHP; old for level; carving inexperienced hitters w/ below-avg stuff do to solid control/pitchability. Body and strikes w/ three pitches to eat innings in ORG starter role if need be. Longshot ceiling of ML emergency/up-and-down swingman or situational LHR. More likely an organizational contributor who throws strikes and competes in starter or relief role.
