Pitch Type Future Grade Sitting Velocity Peak Velocity Report
FB 55 90-93 94 Velocity: 55/60
Movement: 40/40
Command: 30/40

T94 4x; lacks plane and is flat more often than not; armside run; elevated offering throughout start and was consistently barreled; command and control both need significant refinement; velo will not be enough to succeed unless he can tighten command and control.
SL 40 75-79 81 Movement: 50/50
Command: 30/40

Inconsistent arm speed replication; sweeping action; release points are highly inconsistent; refinement in arm speed and release points will improve offering a tick.
CH 20 80-84 84 Movement: 20/20
Command: 20/20

Poor arm speed replication; poor pitch with no feel or movement.
Overall

Signed as an international free agent for $200,000 in 2012.

Peralta has a lively FB but lacks the plane, command and control to efficiently work through a lineup. His SL and CH are not strong enough to stick as a SP, but there is enough with the FB/SL to work as a org arm or potential up-and-down RP. The risk is high, as there is much worked needed with refinement of the arsenal.
