Big frame; tall and built; 3/4 arm slot; average arm speed; clean mechanics; mildly stiff on delivery and lacks drive; clean landing on delivery. |

Above-average command; generates plane; relatively straight; hitters will barrel the pitch with more consistency at higher levels due to lack of movement and high-end velocity. |

Average command; slow moving breaker with decent depth; stays spinning too long and can become telegraphed out of hand; best in the 76-77 range; minor improvements in arm slot and release points could slightly improve the offering. |

Average command; mild fade; velo difference is not dramatic and slowed his arm a few times on release; there is mild feel and more consistency with his release points could improve this pitch enough to be a workable third offering. |
Means pitched a good game, tossing six shutout innings and notching seven strikeouts. The stuff isn't overly impressive, but he has command of all three pitches and is relatively consistent with his delivery mechanics. Means is a solid org arm that will be able to toss a moderate amount of innings for a club.
