High effort delivery; reliever all the way; long arm extension; rears back; will dip his throwing shoulder; can become unbalanced; high 3/4th arm slot; arm action is fast; decent plane; stiff on delivery; looks robotic at times; more arm than push-off; delivery times 1.47+. |

Extreme heat; FB has late arm-side run in the 94-95 velo band; heavy pitch; straightened out the two times he touched 97; command is erratic; left the FB up in zone quite often; was hit hard; can get away with poor command and control in lower levels but will struggle at higher levels; FB low in zone around 94-96 was nearly unhittable. |

Hard bite; 12-to-6 on CB at 81 mph, 11-5 on the three CB at 79; wipeout pitch that could potentially evolve into a strikeout tool; I like the harder 12-to-6 version better; shows better bite and depth; also had two foolish swinging strikes; does telegraph out of hand; command is erratic; needs to tighten up grip and consistently throw the 12-to-6 version for most efficiency. |
Younginer has an electric arm and a not so smooth delivery. His mechanics are not the most ideal, but he is a max effort reliever all the way. He attacked the Frederick lineup with his fastball, pounding both sides of the plate. The problem really derives from lack of command, as the first two Frederick hitters jumped on his fastball that was left up in the zone. After a brief mound visit, he calmed down and started to command his fastball better. He was better balanced and then began to mix in the curve, which completely derailed the Keys. I think there is talent in this arm off my brief, one inning look.
