Hit	45	Switch-hitter w/ identical mechanics from both sides of the plate. SQ stance w/ a wide base & high hands. Simple swing, quick & compact to the ball w/ above-average bat control. There are some inconsistencies in his pitch recognition/pitch selection, resulting in below-average swing decisions. Some of that might be able to be taught, but it's likely a .250 bat.
Power	40	Solid to above-average raw power, but limited playability due to the present approach. Likely 10-15 HR power at maturity, but there's potential for more w/ an improved approach (or if he sells out for power at the expense of the hit tool)
Baserunning/Speed	40	Below-average runner at present & will all but surely lose another step due to the rigors of catching, but he's a good baseball athlete & is a surprisingly adept baserunner. Raw speed limits him, but he has a strong baseball IQ & will make the most of what he does have
Glove	60	Strong athleticism behind the plate. Quiet setup w/ soft hands & good agility. Above-average receiver & blocks seemingly everything thrown in the dirt. Makes some really impressive plays on popups behind the plate as well, exhibiting great body control. Impact defender w/ the ability to handle a staff.
Arm	60	Easy plus arm strength. Consistent 1.90 pop times w/ strong accuracy.

High risk/variance given the wear & tear associated w/ the position & the demographic as a whole, but Romo's defensive impact gives him a high floor & he projects as a glove-first regular.
