Hit 45 Shows good physical traits with feel for hit and plus bat speed. Swing will need to be re-worked quite a bit to close holes that MLB pitching will expose. Arm bar creates a longer swing, which he could get away with, but arms get too far away from body creating small window for contact.
Quality approach and recognizes spin, which will limit the swing issues' impact. Swing change could unlock more here, but there's risk he doesn't.
Power 45 Above-average raw power and swing taps into it. Longer swing generates good barrel velocity and has an attack angle for line drives and extra base hits. Currently limited by contact abilities.
Baserunning/Speed 45 Fringe-average runner who gets off the block quick. Hustles on the base-paths with excellent instincts. Should be valuable on base despite lack of impact speed or high stealing totals.
Glove 60 Good hands with excellent feel for the infield. Quality first step with good instincts for approaching the ball to all directions. Tends to be in the right places. Doesn't have lateral range for SS full time, but has the skill-set to fill in at multiple positions in a pinch.
Arm 60 Plus arm strength with good footwork and athleticism that leads to accurate throws from a multitude of different throwing positions. Arm will be a weapon in the IF or the OF.

Davis Wendzel profiles as a platoon/bench player, where his diverse and quality defensive skill set and excellent approach will overcome some of his current offensive issues. He has the physical tools and instincts to play multiple infield and outfield positions while potentially flashing OBP and power skills.

He will need to make some swing adjustments by keeping the hands closer to the body, and if he's not he could have too many holes to stick on an MLB roster. If he's able to make those changes completely and continue to tap into his power, he could carve out a role as an MLB regular at one of many positions.
