Harry Strickland: A random source of power emerges from seemingly out of nowhere. Probably won’t have much to do with the end game, but will be fun to watch while it lasts.

Jon Snow: A talented and resourceful leader who has a lot of trouble closing out battles. It’s hard to imagine they’ll earn a truly happy ending at this point.

Varys: Always involved despite what looks like a lack of talent on the surface. Relies more on wit and guile than pure ability. Tends to disappear when the fighting gets thickest.

Tyrion Lannister: Former plucky underdog turned failed know-it-all. Still fairly influential but losing clout to more relevant powers that be. Part of a pretty racist family tbh.
