(Wilson from Ocean)		Not really, though my last live look at him was in Omaha in 2014. Fisher was supposed to be the best prospect on a loaded team, but nothing really jumped out at me. His teammate, Brandon Downes, however, gave me the vapors, and Downes is still in A-ball, waiting for the hit tool to show up, so really I only answered this question to talk about Brandon Downes I guess. 2015-04-06 20:15:00 (link to chat)Based on pure stuff alone, where would a healthy Jeff Hoffman rank among pitching prospects? I personally see him the closest to Giolito in the minors. Both have potential plus-plus fastball and curveballs along with a potential plus change.
(Matt from Cambridge )		I've only seen Hoffman live once, but that's not really what I saw from him (granted it was February last year, and so he might not have been at full speed quite yet). I would say it was a 60 fastball with a chance for more, 60 curveball (inconsistently though) and he flashed some really nice changes I'd put at 55 but was also quite firm (KCR 7th rounder Brandon Downes tagged one for a homer). And that's when they were good. Is there room to grow? You bet. But I probably would have him, completely healthy, in the 30-40 range. It's hard to separate that from his health though!
