2014-11-12 13:00:00 (link to chat) | Ugly as it seems, I could be forced to choose one of these fine gentlemen for my dynasty league team 2B: Taylor Lindsey, Derek Dietrich, Tommy La Stella.
What's the least damage I can have? thanks (fabiopao from Italy) | La Stella. That's a pretty fun league you're in. (Sam Miller) |
2014-07-08 13:00:00 (link to chat) | Who are some trade chips the Angels can offer to try and get some SP? (Lewis from LA) | There isn't much in the system to be completely honest. Taylor Lindsey will have some value to teams, but he's more of a secondary prospect for a top pitcher, than a center piece guy. Kaleb Cowart has his believers in the industry, but again, not likely to be a center piece to any deal. Jose Rondon could be a piece as well. The Angels are going to have to attempt to compensate for lack of quality with quantity if they really want to get something done. (Mark Anderson) |
2014-01-27 13:00:00 (link to chat) | I know he's not a top 101 guy, but where would Taylor Lindsey slot in if you were to expand the list to 200 or so names? Thanks. (Karl Marx from Ottawa) | 125-150 sounds right. (Jason Parks on the Top 101 Prospects) |
2014-01-10 13:00:00 (link to chat) | How much separates the following three wonderfully named 2Bs (in terms of their expected future performance, not their names): Rougned Odor, Arismenday Alcantara, and Taylor Lindsey. (Mario66 from Pittsburgh) | Odor is considerably better than the other two. I like Alcantara and Lindsey, but they're not in Odor's class in terms of future potential. (Mark Anderson) |
2013-11-05 13:00:00 (link to chat) | Do you see Taylor Lindsey to basically be a role 5? And when would you expect to see him in Anaheim? (Robert from California) | He'll get some 6s dropped on him -- I'd go high 5 with a solid 5 more likely. He could be ready to contribute in 2014, but 2015 seems like the more likely ETA. (Nick J. Faleris) |
2013-10-15 13:00:00 (link to chat) | Do the angels have anyone that can be considered a stud prospect? (Bob from Anaheim ) | No. Taylor Lindsey is the top player in the system, and he's a role 5 type at 2B. (Jason Parks) |
2013-09-27 13:00:00 (link to chat) | What sort of future grade would you put on Arismendy Alcantara and Taylor Lindsey? Assuming both are 2Bmen, who do you prefer? (fake name from fake address) | Lindsey can be a solid everyday guy and Alcantara could peak a little better than that. I'm a big Lindsey fan but I'd have to take Alcantara long term. I think he's got a little louder tool set and I think he has a fair chance of being a better Major League player. (Mark Anderson) |
2013-06-13 13:00:00 (link to chat) | Taylor Lindsey is scorching and now has a nice season line. Is he the Angels best prospect right now and who do you compare him to? (adragone from Hoboken) | I wouldn't write off Kaleb Cowart yet, despite the rough season so far. He just turned 21 about 10 days ago. Still very young and there's too much talent to write off. I'd still go Cowart on ceiling, but Lindsey is having a nice season. (Jason Cole) |
