2017-01-25 13:00:00 (link to chat)Do you foresee either either Matt Bush or Cam Bedrosian becoming the closer ?
(Brody from OK City)
Possibly. Frankly, lots of pitchers can close. More than most would like to admit (Harry Pavlidis)
2016-12-22 13:00:00 (link to chat)If you had to turn the Angels into a contender in this offseason, how would you do it? No care in the world about future prospects but realistic spending limits. As long as you can win in 2017, that's all that matters.
(JustinPerline from NY)
Hey Justin. They're actually not as far away as one might imagine. Part One: DON'T TRADE TROUT. Part Two: Sign Tyson Ross, because your entire rotation is about crossing your fingers anyway. Then I sign Chase Utley for the infield. Deal Jahmai Jones and Taylor Ward for a starting pitcher. Maybe I trade Cam Bedrosian to a team that wants a cheap closer ... for another starting pitcher and worry about the bullpen in July.

(The answer is more/better starting pitching.) (Bryan Grosnick)
2016-08-17 13:00:00 (link to chat)Hi Bryan, Which current non-closers do you think will be closing in 2017?
(Cal Guy from Cal)
This is a really good one. Cam Bedrosian is the hottest name I can think of, especially seeing as how the Angels could probably run anyone out there in the AL West basement. I wouldn't be shocked if Cody Allen winds up on another team and closing next year ... Derek Law's one. Does Ken Giles count? (Bryan Grosnick)
2015-02-12 19:00:00 (link to chat)Which trio of hard throwing relievers would you prefer? Keone Kela? Cam Bedrosian? R.J. Alvarez?
(Ian from NYC)
Which trio or which of the trio? I'll just rank them: Kela, Alvarez, Bedrosian. (Kate Morrison)
2014-06-13 13:00:00 (link to chat)What are your thoughts on Cam Bedrosian and Shae Simmons? Do either of these hurlers possess the closer arsenal?
(Rup from Lorton, VA)
Yeah, they could both close, but right now they are a long way from getting that kind of opportunity. They should be worthwhile high-K assets in only leagues right now. I prefer Simmons to Bedrock and not just because Cam was ripped in that outing against Houston. (Paul Sporer)
2014-05-05 13:00:00 (link to chat)Cam Bedrosian looks unbelievable. I mean that literally, I can hardly believe his K rate. Is he for real?
(Hector Salamanca from New Mexico)
Cam Bedrosian makes me feel old, because I had a Starting Lineup action figure of his father when I was a child. As for Little Bedrock, remember that he was a first round pick and probably should have been used as a reliever from the start. Nobody can continue to strike out two batters per inning, but he's definitely a legit bullpen arm. (Jeff Moore)
