2016-08-01 16:00:00 (link to chat)I just read the Pirates got Drew Hutchison in the Liriano Deal. Think the Pirates can turn him around?
(Rick from Chicago)
I'm skeptical. The Pirates haven't had a lot of luck with their projects since Jim Benedict left, and are toward the bottom of the league in DRA. Great potential, though, and the change in venue helps. (Mike Gianella)
2016-07-13 15:00:00 (link to chat)Drew Hutchison -- Quad-A pitcher, or real improvements?
(edwardarthur from Illinois)
It's tough to tell with a guy who was tasked with improving his command. I know that's not the authoritative answer you were looking for, but I haven't seen him pitch this year and he's the kind of guy where the answer to your question won't show up in his Triple-A numbers. (Brendan Gawlowski)
2015-05-26 19:00:00 (link to chat)Jesse Hahn, Alex Wood, or Drew Hutchison?
(Shawn from Couch)
Hutchison for me. I really like that kid. (Mike Gianella)
2015-05-13 13:00:00 (link to chat)Just traded Julio Teheran, Drew Hutchison, and Brad Miller for Carlos Gomez, Jung-Ho Kang, and Henderson Alvarez in a keeper league with only 1 year left however...who won?
(msimotes from Kalamazoo)
You did. America did. (Christopher Crawford)
2014-03-14 09:00:00 (link to chat)Drew Hutchison has the inside track for the rotation in Toronto , Is he Meh or is there any upside left ? Cheers Mike.
(boatman44 from Liverpool)
He's meh for me, and with Aaron Sanchez and Marcus Stroman beating down the door, he's more of a capable AL-only fill in than a guy I'd gamble on in a deeper mixed. (Mike Gianella)
2013-11-26 13:00:00 (link to chat)Is there a place for Drew Hutchison in the Blue Jay's 2014 rotation?
(Paul from DC)
yes but can he grab it is the question. Could be a competitive spring. (Harry Pavlidis)
2013-10-23 13:00:00 (link to chat)I play in a 20 Team Strat-o-matic League and we are allowed 3 'uncarded' slots on our 40 man rosters for players with no MLB experience the previous season. Last Strat season I had Toronto pitcher Drew Hutchison on my roster. He didn't make it back to Toronto in the 2013 MLB season after 2012 TJ surgery. Is he worth one of my 3 'uncarded' roster spots?
(Paul from DC)
Without knowing the alternatives it's hard to say, but if Hutchinson gets healthy he has the chance to be a middle-of-the-rotation starter. (R.J. Anderson)
2013-06-20 13:00:00 (link to chat)Thoughts on some guys coming back from TJ surgery: Joe Wieland, Drew Hutchison. Do you like them for 2013, 2014 ?
(tbwhite from San Diego)
I prefer Wieland, though we gotta wait on both. I really think Wieland can be a solid fantasy asset thanks to half of his games being in Petco (in addition to some real talent). (Paul Sporer)
2013-06-20 13:00:00 (link to chat)Please say something nice about Joe Wieland and/or Drew Hutchison, I'm trying to move them....
(tbwhite from San Diego)
#1 and #2 on the top 100 next year FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Paul Sporer)
2012-08-07 13:00:00 (link to chat)Regarding players that may or may not qualify for prospect lists: does any time in the show disqualify one from inclusion? Trevor Bauer? Joe Weiland/ Drew Hutchison?
(Breakables from Chicago)
Standard ROY rules, so 130 AB/50 innings. (Kevin Goldstein)
