2017-10-24 20:00:00 (link to chat)What kind of power upside do you see for Monte Harrison and Peter Alonso. Thanks!
(Mark from San Antonio)
John Eshleman is *all over* Monte Harrison, like potential future star type all over, and he's seen him a lot and knows what he's doing. He gave him future 6 power a few months ago, so let's go with that.

Peter Alonso looked like a totally different hitter from 2016 to 2017. Right/right college 1B/DH is an awful profile, so the problem is that he very well might have 25-30 home run power and never get a chance to show it. I like him despite the profile issues. -- Jarrett (World Series Chat)
2017-09-18 23:00:00 (link to chat)Who is a good source for info on fringe and low level prospects? For example I want to ask you about Hector Yan and Stiward Aquino, but you probably think I'm making those names up.
(Philip from New New York)
It's your lucky day, or at least about to be your lucky fall/winter, as we'll be including a random teenager or two with each of our top-10 lists this year. If you're not already you should be following/reading John Eshleman, Steve Givarz, and Matt Pullman around these parts for AZL/GCL/low-lever coverage. (Wilson Karaman)
2017-07-31 23:00:00 (link to chat)Do you ever get out to the AZL? Any young IFA guys there you think are perfectly cromulent?
(Josh from Los Angeles)
I do not, but we've got two dudes who do, in Matt Pullman and John Eshleman, both of whom are excellent evaluators. Matt wrote delicious things about Eguy Rosario just today in the Ten Pack, I'd start there: http://www.baseballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=32405 (Wilson Karaman)
