2019-02-04 16:00:00 (link to chat)Hi Mike, Keeper question for you. 12-team mixed 5x5 standard roto. I can keep up to four players at these round values. What do you think? Trevor Bauer - 19 Yasmani Grandal - 12 Randal Grichuk - 15 Nomar Mazara - 12 David Peralta - 29 Carlos Santana - 14 Eduardo Rodriguez - 21 Mallex Smith - 22
(Rob from New York)
Bauer, Peralta, Smith and E-Rod. If it's a two catcher league, Grandal instead of E-Rod. (Mike Gianella)
2017-05-02 13:00:00 (link to chat)with the first month in the books are there any FA veterans you're adding in dynasty? Like a David Peralta if you believe hes back to 2015 form.
(Chansen8895 from San Jose, CA)
David Peralta is v. good. Ryan Zimmerman got off to such a hot start that you can't get him now. One guy who has stood out to me is Shin-Soo Choo. His OBP is around .400 right now, hitting for some power. Underrated. (George Bissell)
2016-01-14 20:00:00 (link to chat)How much are you expecting David Peralta to regress next year?
(CVC from O)
Somewhat, but he's a solid all around player and should be able to be good enough to still be viable for the Diamondbacks. (Mike Gianella)
2015-11-05 12:00:00 (link to chat)David Peralta put up some big 2nd half numbers. His babip was obviously high, but hard hit % and exit velocity were also high. What do you expect from him in 2016? Thanks.
(Bill from Trenton)
Someone asked me who the most underrated player in baseball was right now and my answer was Peralta's OF-mate A.J. Pollock. Now, Peralta isn't likely to break out like Pollock did this year, but I think he has a nice skill set and will be a solid guy for a while. I'd love to see the K rate come down, but it seems like he's trading some Ks for hard contact, and it's worked so far. The tie between Exit Velo and BABIP is loose still, but I don't think he's due for a full-on regression to a replacement level guy. A couple win player, largely on offense, seems about right. (Jeff Long)
2015-09-21 20:30:00 (link to chat)Which two would you keep out of Bird, Grichuk, Piscotty, and David Peralta? Thanks.
(John from Trenton)
I'd be very tempted to keep the two Cardinals. (Bret Sayre)
