2014-04-24 13:00:00 (link to chat)Danny Salazar? Que Pasa?
(Pop from NJ)
Pardon me for pumping a non-BP project of mine, but Collette and I discussed this at length with Jensen Lewis (former Cleveland Indian himself) on a pod yesterday - https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/towers-of-power-baseball-hour/id787270212?mt=2 (Paul Sporer)
2008-12-11 14:00:00 (link to chat)Should the Indians option Joe Smith and put Eddie Moo on a six-week trial before cutting bait, or have we seen the Last of the Mujica?
(buffum from Austin TX)
I'd take Smith over Mujica any time. I think Smith, Jensen Lewis and Rafael Betancourt will set up Kerry Wood. (John Perrotto)
2008-10-06 14:00:00 (link to chat)Joe: What would you do if you were the Indians about a closer? Would you give the job to Jensen Lewis to start, or would you look at one of the retread closers?
(warclub from Strongsville, OH )
I'd try and re-create the bullpen that they had a couple years ago, with a whole mess of good pitchers, and not worry about who pitches to three batters every third day or so. Lots of people can do that job. What you need is three or four guys who can get outs, and some of those have to be low-split guys who miss bats. Worry about skills, not roles. (Joe Sheehan)
2008-10-06 14:00:00 (link to chat)where do you see huston street this offseason? indians, detroit, mets?
(pete from texas)
He's not a good fit for the Mets or Indians, who have Joe Smith and Jensen Lewis who do the exact same thing. The Tigers are an interesting spot, actually--they need *reliable* relievers, and Street is that. (Joe Sheehan)
