DateQuestionAnswer
2014-02-13 13:00:00 (link to chat)Favorite low key acquisition this winter?
(Pamey Wright from L.A.)
I'm not sure if they qualify-you could probably call both mid-key acqusitions-but I loved the Norichika Aoki deal for Kansas City, and I think David Freese will help the Angels more than people think. If we're talking low-low key then Burke Badenhop is a good get for Boston. He's dependable and didn't cost much. (R.J. Anderson)
2013-12-06 13:00:00 (link to chat)What will Brandon Workman do now that the Red Sox have signed Edward Mujica and traded for Burke Badenhop?
(Paul from Boston)
That's tough because No. 6 starter seems like a good plan for him, but if Dempster is 5 and Doubront is 6...

They have so much starting pitching that I could see a trade at some point. There are guys who would have more value to other teams than they have to the Red Sox. (Zachary Levine)
2013-01-22 13:00:00 (link to chat)Eight months from now, what minor transaction that didn't get much fanfare when it happened, will pay the most dividends for his team ?
(William from Pensacola, FL)
Tough one. I liked the Brewers adding Burke Badenhop, if that's a minor enough deal for you. He should help shore up the middle innings there. I know that's not going to yield too sexy of results but that's the first move that popped up. (R.J. Anderson)
2010-11-16 13:00:00 (link to chat)Loving the Padres trade for Maybin. He's strikes me as a Mike Cameron type player, I'll take one of those for 2 middle relievers anytime.
(formersd from San Diego)
Admit it--you're Marc Normandin. But yes, I agree. Amazing to see how far the stock of the two centerpieces of the Miguel Cabrera trade have fallen. But hey, there's always Burke Badenhop, right? (Ben Lindbergh)
