2022-01-21 13:00:00 (link to chat)This ranking makes me irrationally excited about Jordan Walker. Give me some red flags for why I shouldn't bank on him hitting 500 hrs in the bigs.
(Neville Chamberlain from Sudetenland)
He might be a first baseman with a 30% K-rate, although I don't think there's really as much hit tool or positional risk as you'd think if I just broadly described the profile to you. (Top 101 chat w/Jeffrey Paternostro)
2021-01-21 12:00:00 (link to chat)Of the prospects after the top 50, who would you say has the highest ceiling?
(Baseball is Pretty Cool from IL)
Jordan Walker, Erick Pena, Noelvi Marte, maybe someone like Austin Hendrick. Gabriel Arias and Jordyn Adams if the bat clicks. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2021-01-15 12:00:00 (link to chat)Can you provide two or three prospect names that are outside the top 50 that you think will be top 10 by the end of the year?
(Collin from Miami)
I am taking this as 2021 breakouts and given the lack of 2020 information; I’d expect a bunch, but you are talking about a really big jump in a projection sense. A lot of the guyswouod end up in the majors for too long if they made the talent jump, so you are talking high upside recent IFAs like Dominguez and Peña that are probably already unavailable in your dynasty league. Liover Peguero and Jordan Walker fit this general description though. I don’t think either *wil* be top ten but might be presently undervalued by our rankings. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2020-06-10 19:00:00 (link to chat)Was the pick of Jordan Walker more about his character than his talent? He seemed like a second/third round pick just based on his talent.
(GaryJohnson from Stuck at Home)
Jordan Walker is raw, sure, the physical projection and ceiling is unlimited. The fact he's such a smart kid with good habits and makeup help you believe he'll get to that potential. (Keanan Lamb)
2020-03-13 13:00:00 (link to chat)Who are your top 10 prospects for 2021 first year player drafts? So basically, the guys that will be taken in this year's MLB draft. Craig told me to ask you.
(Brent from Tacoma)
1) Spencer Torkelson, 1B, ASU
2) Austin Martin, IF, Vanderbilt
3) Nick Gonzales, 2B, New Mexico State
4) Tetsuto Yamada, 2B, NPB (assuming posting)
5) Seiya Suzuki, OF, NPB (assuming posting)
6) Garrett Mitchell, OF, UCLA
7) Emerson Hancock, RHP, Georgia
8) Blaze Jordan, 1B/3B, HS
9) Zac Veen, OF, HS
10) Heston Kjerstad, OF, Arkansas

Others of note include the Cuban defectors (Pedro Leon and Oscar Colas); Jordan Walker, 3B, HS; Austin Hendrick, OF, HS; Casey Martin, SS, Arkansas; Asa Lacy, LHP, Texas A&M; and even Zach DeLoach, OF, Texas A&M. (Jesse Roche)
