2021-01-21 12:00:00 (link to chat)Of the prospects after the top 50, who would you say has the highest ceiling?
(Baseball is Pretty Cool from IL)
Jordan Walker, Erick Pena, Noelvi Marte, maybe someone like Austin Hendrick. Gabriel Arias and Jordyn Adams if the bat clicks. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2020-03-27 13:00:00 (link to chat)Please rank these teenage shortstops from a dynasty perspective....Noelvi Marte, Orelvis Martinez, Maximo Acosta, Javier Garcia Medina Santa Maria Francisco Estrella. Thanks!
(Parts and Gleyber from The shop)
(1) Noelvi Marte, SS, SEA
(2) Orelvis Martinez, SS, TOR
(3) Maximo Acosta, SS, TEX
(4) Francisco Estrella, SS, SF (Jesse Roche)
2020-03-20 13:00:00 (link to chat)Dynasty keeper league. I am likely to have a choice of Jeter Downs, Orelvis Martinez, or Noelvi Marte with my first pick. Do you have any particular preference and why? Thanks.
(Old Timer from Raleigh NC)
Dynasty and keeper are different things normally. If you can keep nearly your entire roster forever, then it is dynasty. If you have a strict keeper limit, even if you can keep forever, it is keeper. The difference matters because opportunity cost is something that must be considered when talking players like Orelvis Martinez and Noelvi Marte who are a ways away.

Regardless, none are bad picks, but I am partial to Marte as a potential 5-category star who could be a top-10 dynasty prospect by year's end if everything goes according to plan. (Jesse Roche)
2020-03-11 13:00:00 (link to chat)Best bet to receive most helium this year: Noelvi Marte, Orelvis Martinez, George Valera, Or Aaron Bracho?
(Yandy's from Diaz)
I like this one. I am going to say Orelvis because he's not as high on radars right now. Marte and Valera probably still rank higher at the end of the season though (with good reason). (Craig Goldstein)
2020-02-14 13:00:00 (link to chat)Give me 5 prospects that have potential to breakout the way Julio Rodriguez, Marco Luciano, Kristian Robinson, etc did... thanks in advance!
(Frankie from NY NY)
Those three were highly regarded J2 signees, so, in a similar vein, I'd say Alexfri Planez and Johan Rojas from the 2017 class; Noelvi Marte, Orelvis Martinez, Misael Urbina, Luis Matos, and Jeferson Espinal from the 2018 class; and Jasson Dominguez, Erick Pena, Robert Puason, Luis Rodriguez, Maximo Acosta, Reginald Preciado, Bayron Lora, and Hedbert Perez from the 2019 class. (Jesse Roche)
2019-08-28 12:00:00 (link to chat)Per the earlier question about next Franco, what about Noelvi Marte?
(Jake from State Farm)
Franco was ripping the Appy at the same age. Marte is a good prospect though. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2019-08-21 13:00:00 (link to chat)Trying to find the next big thing in the lower minors like Wander Franco, Marco Luciano, Julio Rodriguez. Any under the radar guys you think can make huge jumps that aren't well known?
(Jim from Halifax)
Maybe someone like Noelvi Marte, if you're not looking at the current J2 class. I'm currently on Ezequiel Duran, who's an interesting second-base prospect with the Yankees. We talked about Johan Rojas on TINO recently, though he doesn't have the upside of guys like Franco, Luciano, or Rodriguez. (JP Breen)
