2021-01-21 12:00:00 (link to chat) | Thoughts on Josh Lowe and Heiriberto Hernandez? Did they have any traction.
Thanks (Devil Ray from Tampa) | Lowe was on the long list, but behind several other Rays that were closer to making it. Hernandez really isn't in consideration for us yet until we see the bat against better arms and have a better idea where he's going to stand in the field. Wouldn't be shocked if he's at least in consideration next year though. (Jeffrey Paternostro) |
2020-02-07 13:00:00 (link to chat) | Is getting Kris Bryant and Drew Waters enough for Jack Flaherty in a dynasty league? Flaherty seems to be future stud ace.....but I love me some Waters. (Derek from MN) | In a standard 5x5 roto league, yes, it is more than enough. We actually rank Bryant ahead of Flaherty in our top 500. Pitchers are difficult investments in dynasty, even young studs like Flaherty. I know some of us (cough, Bret Sayre, cough) absolutely adore Drew Waters as well. I recently traded Flaherty, Brad Hand, and Brett Gardner for Yoan Moncada, Dakota Hudson, and Josh Lowe in RotoWire Dynasty Invitational 20-team expert league. You would be doing far better than I did!
In a points league, however, I would need more for Flaherty. (Jesse Roche) |
2019-11-11 13:00:00 (link to chat) | I really am excited more about Josh Lowe than any other non-Wander Franco Rays' prospects - he had a strong 2nd half for sure.
In a weaker system - is he a top 3-5 prospect? What is upside from a player comp? (gatorgolf24 from Chattanooga, TN) | Our staff reports on Lowe are I'm guessing a bit more muted than other places, due to concerns about the swing. It's good that he has started to translate some of the tools into on-field production, but I think he's more 6-10 in an averagish system. (Tampa Bay Rays Top 10 Chat) |
