2020-04-01 13:00:00 (link to chat)What sort of player would you expect Jake Fraley to become? Looks like he will have an opportunity to play in Seattle this year. Thoughts on upside?
(CubbieBear from Chi-Town)
Fourth outfielder who flashes more but is injured too often to capitalize. A modern day Chris Snelling. (Craig Goldstein)
2020-03-02 12:00:00 (link to chat)Which of these 3 players has the best chance to be a star someday: Jake Fraley, Trent Grisham, Kyle Lewis or Myles Straw (that's 4, not 3, but whatever)?
(Jurgen Klock from Riverpool)
Yeesh, Grisham has been the best in the majors, but not that great, and he's not a guy I'm super buying, all that said, probably Grisham. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2020-02-14 13:00:00 (link to chat)What is your ceiling projection for Jake Fraley?
(Moriancumer from Logan)
.270/15/15 (Jesse Roche)
2019-10-02 13:00:00 (link to chat)How do you rate Jake Fraley after his poor 12-game stint with the Mariners this season?
(Jon from WA)
Everyone I talked to all year raved about him. A bad 12-game stint doesn't mean anything in the scheme of things. (Craig Goldstein)
2019-07-08 20:00:00 (link to chat)Jake Fraley, OF-SEA, has taken a big step forward the last two years. Seattle seems to be pushing him pretty fast too since being drafted in 2016. What do you think his upside is and what his future possibly holds. Thanks.
(Cubbie Bear from Chi-Town)
We've had recent notes on him in both the Texas League midseason review and one of Lefko's pieces. The short version is that he's always hit when healthy, he just hasn't been healthy a ton. (Jarrett Seidler)
2019-05-03 13:00:00 (link to chat)Jake Fraley is off to a strong start at AA. What can you tell us about his tools and his potential future upside?
(CubbieBear from Chi-Town)
I talked to a scout in Spring Training who liked him a bit. Health has been the issue for him mostly, but when he's right he's a plus runner with a chance at moderate pop (who doesn't with the ball these days), and might be a solid platoon/4th OF type (Craig Goldstein)
