2018-07-13 15:00:00 (link to chat)Have there been any recent reports on Jon Duplantier's injury? He was supposed to be out a week to 10 days and it's going on 5 weeks. I like the potential but his injury risk is huge.
(Montecristo409 from Michigan)
I've been told it wasn't particularly concerning, but given his injury track record, I'd probably be concerned about everything (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2017-06-13 12:00:00 (link to chat)Jon Duplantier has had the statlines, but have the scouting reports indicated that he could be at least a SP3 if he stays healthy?
(Esteban from Mesa)
He's always had stuff, so it's nice to see him putting it together. "at least a third starter" is a tall order, in terms of profile. Third starters are really good, but yeah he has the potential to be in there if he can stay healthy and on track. (Craig Goldstein)
2017-05-22 23:00:00 (link to chat)Jon Duplantier -- are we seeing a breakout? Future top 100 guy?
(Chimmy from ARI)
Emmett just wrote him up last week as a high-probability 4 starter, yeah. Read up here: http://www.baseballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=31844

2017-05-18 13:00:00 (link to chat)Is Jon Duplantier legit? How does he compare to, say, Mitch white in terms of helium?
(Charles from SC)
Yep. I liked him the best of the Diamondbacks non-Banda arms coming into the season, even if the arm issues kept him a lower on the list. Still a decent chance he's a late inning guy in the end, but he's a dude. White's the better prospect though. And I am not just saying that because Wilson is holding my bourbon supplies hostage. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
