2020-11-20 12:00:00 (link to chat)Lane Thomas had Clovis but his underlying numbers from 2019 were pretty intriguing .its not like Bader oneil and Fowler are that formidable- think he’ll get a shot next spring and if so how much upside?
(jugdish from Faber)
I thought about this for a bit and came to the conclusion that the Cardinals should really be in on George Springer. I assume he will be in the mix, but the upside is something like the good Harrison Bader seasons with more pop and less glove. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2019-09-04 13:00:00 (link to chat)Is Lane Thomas a starting OF next year?
(Ed from Cranford)
Could see it. But I would prefer him as a top-tier fourth OF who gets a lot of ABs in a platoon situation too. (Tyler Oringer)
2019-08-30 16:00:00 (link to chat)Small Sample Size, but is Lane Thomas interesting? He has fantastic exit velocity at 91.7mph and 98th percentile sprint speed according to Statcast. Can he be a 20HR/15SB guy?
(Matt from Boston)
Not with a broken wrist, he can't.

But to the larger point your question implies: these non-prospect types seem to be coming out of the woodwork more and more, and the Cardinals are one of the franchises that know how to find a use for these guys. So, yeah, on principle, I'd pay attention (though wouldn't expect much). (Jon Hegglund)
2016-03-14 14:30:00 (link to chat)Do you have any Low Minor prospects you are high on that aren't really known but you think that by this time next year may have some buzz?
(David from Atlantis)
From the NWL, Jake Brentz, Luis Liberato, Enyel De Los Santos, Mac Marshall, Yeyson Yrizarri. If I had to take a deeeep dive, Zack Nehrir, Lane Thomas, and Carlos Hernandez. Eloy Jimenez and Justin Steele probably don't count because Cubs, but I liked them too. Colin Young wants me to say Brett Kennedy. (Brendan Gawlowski)
2015-01-15 18:00:00 (link to chat)Which under-the-radar Blue Jays prospect do you think will have a coming out party in 2015? Rowdy Tellez, Angel Perdomo, Dan Jansen, or Lane Thomas?
(Jay from Toronto)
Oh, one of my secret crushes, Angel Perdomo. I fully expect to see people talking about him extensively by this time next year. (Mark Anderson)
