2021-03-10 13:00:00 (link to chat) | What would you say the ceiling is for Willi Castro? (Champdo from Florida ) | I just talked about him with Jeffrey Paternostro on the AL Central preview for Five & Dive, but I don't think last year was anything close to sustainable. He had a .500+ SLG with an average exit velo of 85 mph, and a 20% HR/FB. Just a bizarre year for him. I'd previously pegged him as a second-division starter and I'm not sure we should really change our minds based on the 40-game sample. That's different from ceiling, I suppose, but perhaps a more realistic expectation. (Craig Goldstein) |
2019-09-13 12:00:00 (link to chat) | Of Isaac Paredes, Daz Cameron, and Willi Castro who do you think is the most likely to be an above average regular? (Champdo from Sarasota ) | I'm guessing Cameron ends up highest on the Tigers list, but I'm not super in on any of the three. Diaz and Paredes were both OFP 55s coming into the season, but I'm less bullish on Paredes, and Daz has gone through another of his "intermittently forgot how to hit" periods. I like Castro personally, but he's more of a good utility type. (Jeffrey Paternostro) |
