2019-08-08 15:00:00 (link to chat)Do you prefer Carter Kieboom or Brendan Rodgers if both wind up at 2B (park neutral)? Also, what overall grade would you give Luis Arraez after what he has shown?
(The Colonel from Pasadena, CA)
I think I'd prefer Rodgers but that's close. I'm still not very in on Arraez, though his contact ability and this ball will conspire to prove me wrong. (Craig Goldstein)
2019-07-08 20:00:00 (link to chat)What do we have with Luis Arraez? He's so good that the Twins announcers are actually trying to pronounce his name right. What would you grade Arraez's hit & power tools & D? Would you say he's at least a 50 overall and is there more than that? He's fun to watch.
(The Colonel from Pasadena, CA)
I haven't seen him live nor enough to do a full scouting report on him, but I do love hit tool first guys. (Jarrett Seidler)
2019-07-03 13:00:00 (link to chat)Luis Arraez wasn't on my radar at all before this season, but he's raked at both AAA and in the bigs. Do you see his ceiling as a utility guy, or is there more there?
(roarke from Windows 10 in a deskless office)
More of a utility type for me. The bat is quite good though, just not sure the power plays. Of course that's a dangerous sentiment to type in the age of the rabbit ball. (Craig Goldstein)
2019-05-24 15:00:00 (link to chat)Luis Arraez off to an amazing MLB start. Seeing lots of people saying swing comps to Tony Gwynn’s. Did he just make his way into top 100 prospects?
(Fightingmoose from Manitoba)
Nah, don't think so. But if he could get regular playing time, he could be Slow Nicky Lopez, maybe. (Jon Hegglund)
