2016-05-16 23:00:00 (link to chat)Anything interesting happening with Jordan Patterson? Might they call him up sooner than expected, especially with his ability to play some first base?
(TJ from DC)
Yeah, I'd be very surprised if we didn't see him this summer. I liked him last year, natural strength and bat-to-ball ability. Very aggressive hitter in-zone, and there's some stiffness in the swing. Not an unfamiliar profile for Rockies fans, but he's got an idea about how to hit. He's the kind of guy I'll be really interested to watch against big league pitching. (Wilson Karaman)
2016-05-18 19:00:00 (link to chat)Hi George, Why aren't the Rockies giving Jordan Patterson a shot ? He can play all 3 OF positions so he's got to be better than Raburn.
(Jimmy from Denver)
Ryan Raburn hits lefties. What do CarGo, Blackmon and Parra have in common? They're all left-handed (and so is Patterson). You need to be able to roll a right-handed bat out there against southpaws. (George Bissell)
2015-09-30 19:00:00 (link to chat)I've been hanging on to my last $1 forever in my dynasty league. Here are a few guys who have risen up my list. Looking for most upside here. Who should I spend my $1 on? Domingo Acevedo,Jordan Patterson,Kevin Padlo,Wilson Contreras,Harold Ramirez,Johan Mieses,Chad Pinder,Isan Diaz,Willy Garcia,Yairo Munoz
(TheDave from AR)
I'd throw that dollar on Isan Diaz, Wilson Contreras and Yairo Munoz in that order. (Mauricio Rubio)
2015-09-15 13:00:00 (link to chat)Hey Al, can you give us a couple prospects that are flying under the radar that we should know about?
(Jpilgrim from Jenks)
I don't know about "under the radar," but I think Luis Ortiz is a stud. Jose Mateo sounds like he could fly up. Clint Frazier and Lewis Brinson probably moved up big time. Jordan Patterson on the Rockies really impressed me as well. Red Sox 1st rounder Andrew Benintendi wowed people in the NYPL. Victor Robles on the Nats in the NYPL too. (Al Skorupa)
2015-06-15 19:00:00 (link to chat)Are we looking at t breakout season for Jordan Patterson? Future stud in the making?
(Greg Morales from Croton, NY)
He's a 23-year-old in the Cal League, so the numbers aren't as exciting as they would be in another context. He's an extra OF in the end. (Brendan Gawlowski)
