2016-06-16 21:00:00 (link to chat)Does Jen-Ho Tseng have any fantasy impact or is his ceiling not high enough? He's been solid but should I look for more?
(RDBL2014 from Burlingame)
In a deep league, he's a reasonable hold. But otherwise not enough ceiling for me. (Bret Sayre)
2015-05-26 19:00:00 (link to chat)Just got offered the following in a dynasty league for Edwin Encarnacion: Greg Polanco, Miguel Sano, Jen-Ho Tseng, Michael Feliz/Chi Chi Gonzalez. Enough value coming back or should IU be looking for a different return?
(JaceP from Nevada)
That's fair if you can take the power hit this year. (Mike Gianella)
2015-01-28 19:00:00 (link to chat)Who's your favorite fantasy prospect that didn't make his team's BP top ten?
(Tom from Philly)
Jen-Ho Tseng without a doubt. There's not much projection there as his body is pretty maxed out and the profile is that of a safe 4 starter but I love watching that guy pitch. Moves the mitt around has a nice change he's a solid dude. (Mauricio Rubio)
2014-10-09 15:00:00 (link to chat)BA left Jen-Ho Tseng off their top 20 MWL prospects. Where do you stand on Tseng?
(MKPJ from Chicago)
I think he's pretty handily in the top 20 MWL prospects. I like him quite a bit, but understand some of the red flags. I do believe he has a shot to be a #4 starter; the polish is impressive, and I like the stuff. (Jordan Gorosh)
2014-07-25 14:00:00 (link to chat)Do you have any observations or reports on Jen-Ho Tseng? Jukebox:Misfits "Where Eagles Dare".
(MKPJ from chicago)
I haven't seen him yet, so will have to pass that one on to the BP Prospect crew for now.

Dig the jukebox. If I ran with a list of all Misfits, then I would have a song for every question that I answered ... at least until "Come Back" hit on shuffle. (Doug Thorburn)
2014-07-24 19:00:00 (link to chat)Obviously you've seen Kane County a bunch this year. Is Underwood's stock close to Tseng's? Or is it much closer to Blackburn and Torrez at this stage?
(David from Malibu)
Let's talk pitching a bit.

Underwood has a higher ceiling than Tseng, the curveball has better snap and has potential to be special, but Tseng has a more polished profile and a higher ceiling. Underwood belongs in the C.J. Edwards, Jen-Ho Tseng, Pierce Johnson level, Blackburn and Torrez are in the tier below for me. (Mauricio Rubio)
2014-07-24 19:00:00 (link to chat)How would you rank the current and former KC Cougar starting pitchers - Jen-Ho Tseng, Paul Blackburn, Daury Torrez, Duane Underwood and Juan Paniagua (no need to ask about Tyler Skulina as I know he'd be at the bottom of your list)?
(Navin from Pasadena, CA)
Tseng, Underwood, Blackburn, Torrez, Paniagua, Skulina (yeah I don't like Tyler much) (Mauricio Rubio)
2014-07-24 19:00:00 (link to chat)Paul Blackburn, Jen-Ho Tseng, Duane Underwood: Which intriguing Cubs low-A pitcher do you prefer?
(msquared from usa)
Tseng right now, but I can see Underwood growing up and taking over that spot in my heart. (Mauricio Rubio)
2014-07-24 19:00:00 (link to chat)Can you grade Jen-Ho Tseng's pitches and command/control profile for the present and future?
(Jake from Chicago)
http://www.baseballprospectus.com/prospects/eyewitness_pit.php?reportid=81 (Mauricio Rubio)
2014-07-22 15:00:00 (link to chat)I've seen you talk quite a bit about Jen-Ho Tseng. Could you talk about the rest of Kane County's intriguing rotation, including the recently promoted Juan Paniagua?
(Navin from Pasadena, CA)
Juan Paniagua was about 5 years too old for the MWL. He's got a fringy (at best) SL, and potentially an avg CH. Saw him up to 97. It's a lot of effort, and a reliever profile, but there was no reason for a mid 20s guy to be in Kane when he's throwing like that.

Blackburn- back of rotation command and control guy
Skulina- velo dip. non prospect. a lot of arm lag

Have seen KC about 12x, and keep missing Torrez. Hope to see him soon. (Jordan Gorosh)
2014-07-22 15:00:00 (link to chat)Why isnt Jen-ho Tseng getting more love? he is putting together a great year and when I went to go see him he dominated
(Taco from Taco)
Apparently you don't follow me on twitter. (Jordan Gorosh)
2014-07-01 13:00:00 (link to chat)Is Jen-Ho Tseng always going to be an injury liablity, or do you think the shoulder has been a fluke? What's his ceiling in your mind?
(Steve from Chicago)
Shoulder's are never good, and pitchers break. Don't think any pitcher injuries are flukes. #3 starter upside. (Chris Rodriguez)
2014-07-08 13:00:00 (link to chat)Is Jen-Ho Tseng a Top 100 prospect at this point? With all the talk recently of Cubs' hitting prospects, is sure seems like Tseng is a forgotten man.
(Jonathan from Syracuse, NY)
I certainly liked what I saw from him this spring, and I've heard good things out of the Midwest League this year, but he's not a Top 100 guy for me yet, and I don't anticipate he will seriously enter the conversation this winter. (Mark Anderson)
2014-05-13 11:00:00 (link to chat)Better long-term ceiling: Ben Lively, Aaron Blair, or Jen-Ho Tseng?
(Steve from Philly)
I would take Tseng. I dig it. (Jason Parks)
2014-04-01 13:00:00 (link to chat)Outside of the big 4 + Alcantara, who impressed you the most from the Cubs back field scouting?
(Scott from Lincolnshire)
Jen-Ho Tseng. I really liked the profile. The FB showed plus velocity and life; the CB was tight and thrown for strikes. Advanced pitchability. Based on what I saw in camp, I would put him in the Cubs top ten. (Jason Parks)
2014-04-01 13:00:00 (link to chat)Is C.J. Edwards still the Cubs best pitching prospect or is Jen-Ho Tseng higher now?
(Steve from Peoria, IL)
Edwards is the better prospect (Jason Parks)
