2020-12-04 12:00:00 (link to chat)What do you make of Anthony Santander’s emergence as a middle of the order bat? Sustainable? He looked like a modern day Reggie Jackson in AUG. Appreciate your thoughts.
(CubbieBear from Chi-Town)
I think it makes him in danger of getting non-tendered by the Orioles for 2022. It's 165 PA so I'm not super confident this is a big talent jump, especially given the underlying swing-and-miss stats don't support the huge K-rate cut. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2020-09-02 13:00:00 (link to chat)Hi Jesse! Love the rankings! I was wondering who the biggest risers and fallers where? Also is Luis Robert keeps this up for the rest of the season how high do you think he could rank?
(Alex from Texas)
I will list the risers/fallers in my upcoming article, but here is a sneak peak:

Risers: Kyle Lewis (+214), Anthony Santander (+170), Corbin Burnes (+135), Dominic Smith (+135)
Fallers: Kirby Yates (-260), Oscar Mercada (-250), Mallex Smith (-150), Tommy Pham (-125)

Plus, several players jumped from off to way up the rankings including Triston McKenzie (319) and Jake Cronenworth (354).

As for Robert, he could climb into the top 15 by season end if he continues to rake. (Jesse Roche)
2020-03-06 13:00:00 (link to chat)Always scrounging for filling out the team. Based on ADP I see the following players undervalued by the market, your thoughts? Alex Dickerson, Anthony Santander, Nicky Lopez, Hanser Alberto, Miguel Rojas, Brandon Belt, Adam Frazier (ugh), Victor Reyes, Avisail Garcia, Leury Garcia, Mauricio Dubon, Nomar Mazara, and why not Josh Donaldson?
(pauls121 from Madison)
Based on ADP, I like Mazara (of course) and Donaldson. I am not in on the others mostly due to lack of impact offensive ability (Lopez, Alberto, Rojas, Frazier, Reyes, L. Garcia), lack of consistent playing time (Dickerson, Avisail Garcia, Mauricio Dubon), and simply proper pricing of the talent (Santander and Belt). (Jesse Roche)
2019-10-30 16:00:00 (link to chat)Do you like Anthony Santander in 12 team mixed next year. It’s a dynasty format. I picked him up for a buck and can keep him or throw him back? Thank you. Peace1love
(planetearth1love from Kansas City)
No, I don't think he's someone you need to keep year to year in a league that shallow. (Craig Goldstein)
2016-08-15 22:00:00 (link to chat)Can Anthony Santander be an every day OF? Having a solid year again after getting rushed to the MWL 3 years ago.
(Peter from Ontario)
He CAN, sure. Adam McInturff's seen him on the regular this year, and according to him Santander's one of the more improved guys in their system. He was in much better shape in camp, has really started translating his raw power into the usable kind. He's a switch-hitter without much in the way of a platoon split, and it's a nice skill set for a big league role of some kind. How much the power continues to play probably dictates what kind of role that is ultimately. (Wilson Karaman)
