2017-11-17 13:00:00 (link to chat)The Reds have 14 or so guys vying for a rotation spot, none outside Homer Bailey, Luis Castillo and maybe Tyler Mahle seem worth getting excited about. Who do the Reds finally decide is better suited shoring up their awful bullpen and move from the rotation in 2018? Some names to consider: Amir Garrett, Robert Stephenson, Brandon Finnegan, Cody Reed, Rookie Davis, Jon Moscot, Jackson Stephens, Tim Adleman, Sal Romano, Keury Mella.
(matzabal from CO)		I don't know that a lot of those guys will be great bullpen arms either (Tim Adleman is still around, eh? Good for him). Garrett, Romano, Stephenson, and Finnegan are the obvious ones here, and the guys most likely to have a real impact in the pen. Also are we still excited about Homer Bailey? I will defer to actual Reds fans on this, but I am...not. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2016-09-29 13:00:00 (link to chat)Jackson Stephens seems to put up consistently good numbers at each level but does not seem to make much of a dent on prospect lists. What are his chances to be a viable MLB SP? Does he have a usable third pitch?
(Festivus313 from Phoenix)		There's just not a lot of upside there. He misses bats more on the ability to locate than on his stuff, and while the command is good, it's not elite. Maybe he's a swingman, but it's tough to see it translating at the big-league level. (Christopher Crawford)
