2015-03-06 14:00:00 (link to chat)What are your thoughts on Alex Yarbrough? Angels seem to be preparing him for a substantial big-league role.
(C.J. from Villa Park)
I think he can be a solid utility guy, one that can play LF and a not abhorrent 2B and the hit tool is above-average. Not a regular, but a guy who can give you 200-250 at bats off the bench isn't anything to sneeze at. (Christopher Crawford)
2014-07-01 13:00:00 (link to chat)So as someone who frequented those games, just how many doubles does Alex Yarbrough have to hit in order to get some love as a prospect?
(Steve from Anaheim)
I really liked Yarbrough last year. He just doesn't game-changing tools that stand out. Solid player, good chance to become a 2nd division starter/utility guy. (Chris Rodriguez)
2014-04-15 13:00:00 (link to chat)Who has more potential to stick in a ML lineup: Alex Yarbrough or Avery Romero? They each showed a good bat last year, but always seem to be under the radar.
(heterodude from South Jersey)
I'm not a huge can of either player, but if I had to take one, I prefer Yarbrough. (Mark Anderson)
