2016-09-08 19:00:00 (link to chat)Do you see any of the following playing meaningful roles in the mlb in 2017: Rio Ruiz, A Knapp, Micah Johnson, A Toles?
(DB from Pgh)
I'm going to say no on Ruiz, Knapp and Johnson, but I firmly believe that Andrew Toles, who has already shown his value as a righty-masher for the Dodgers, becomes a quality platoon outfield for Los Angeles moving forward. If you're looking for the next platoon specialist like Matt Joyce or Danny Valencia, this is your guy. (George Bissell)
2015-09-09 13:00:00 (link to chat)Can you rank these middle IFs for real-life FV: Drury, K Marte, Peraza, Refsnyder, Micah Johnson.
(ColeWhittier from Pasadena, CA)
Not only am I capable of doing it? I will!

1. Peraza
2. Marte
3. Johnson
4. Drury
5. Refsnyder (Christopher Crawford)
2015-07-28 18:00:00 (link to chat)Carlos Sanchez, Micah Johnson, Tyler Saladino--is there an eventual 45-grade MLB 2B in this group?
(The Catbird Sext from Chicago)
It's Saladino. I think Sanchez is a defense only player and I don't see Micah Johnson at 2B long term at all. (Mauricio Rubio)
2015-07-28 18:00:00 (link to chat)Ketel marte and Micah Johnson getting the call anytime soon in the next month or is that more likely in sept?
(Jquinton82 from NY)
RE Marte, I think his play warrants a call up just to see what they have in him and I think it happens in August. RE Micah Johnson I think he's a September guy. The White Sox, as currently constructed, have a funny log jam in the middle infield and specifically second base. I don't think Johnson warrants playing time over the other guys currently on the roster. Not yet. (Mauricio Rubio)
2015-06-02 18:00:00 (link to chat)R Odor or M Johnson, who has the greater ceiling?
(GoTribe06 from Lynchburg, VA)
Odor by a comfy margin in my mind. If you love Micah Johnson you see a speedy left fielder with a below average bat. If you believe in Odor he's a second baseman who can really hit. (Mauricio Rubio)
2015-02-25 14:00:00 (link to chat)Peraza, Amed Rosario, Reynaldo Lopez, Steven Matz.. all things being equal, which one player is not least likely kept in a dynasty league?
(Ron from Texarkana)
Some double negatives there... I think Matz is the present value/upper minors guy and he has the highest value. Lopez a huge helium arm and Rosario has a chance to be a real premium guy. Pereza is a decent real life player, but 2B prospects... meh. Speed first profile and a lot of questions at the plate. Is his profile (particularly in fantasy) a whole lot different than say... Micah Johnson? (Al Skorupa)
2014-08-19 14:00:00 (link to chat)CJ, would appreciate your thoughts on two White Sox prospects, Tim Anderson and Micah Johnson. What do you see for their ultimate roles / ceilings, etc. Thanks!
(ChiSoxFan from Chi Town)
I didn't see Micah Johnson personally but I know he can really run and hit a little bit. Tim Anderson was electric for me. He hits out in front and has premium bat speed. The K numbers were a result of him struggling during an adjustment period and being extremely raw. I think he will end up in CF where his speed will be utilized and his bat will be more than enough for the position. Anderson has plus raw power and the hit tool for it to play. I think he's the total package. (CJ Wittmann)
2014-06-26 14:00:00 (link to chat)Who has the better career, Marcus Semien or Micah Johnson?
(hamsterjockey from DC)
Blech. Real baseball? I guess, Semien. Fantasy baseball? Johnson. The steals will help him carry some value. Just wish he could hit. (J.P. Breen)
2014-04-29 13:00:00 (link to chat)RJ, the Southsiders have Micah Johnson and Northsiders have Arismendy Alcantara. Any thoughts on ETA and expected production/ceiling?
(Chi-Town Keystones from Sweet Home Chicago)
Both could be up this year. Alcantara is the better prospect, as he's got the chance to be a legit first-division starter. (R.J. Anderson)
2014-04-03 19:30:00 (link to chat)When do you foresee Micah Johnson's MLB debut?
(Phil Packer from Pizza Parlor)
2015 guy for me. Not a big fan of the profile. Utility guy (Craig Goldstein)
2014-03-14 09:00:00 (link to chat)What's the chance that Micah Johnson hits and defends well enough to become a regular so that he can become fantasy relevant with his speed?
(Gary from New Jersey)
30-40%. He'll be relevant in mono formats if he makes the Majors, but I'm thinking more Elliot Johnson/Chris Getz here than a guy who sticks long term as a starter. Those batting averages as he has moved up the chain don't inspire confidence. (Mike Gianella)
2013-08-22 13:00:00 (link to chat)Micah Johnson seems to get no love, despite his 80+ SB and .300+BA since promotion to high-A. Can he be an impact player in the show?
(tsweber from Reno, NV)
Long way from that. A lot of the good work came at A-ball as 22. (Paul Sporer)
