Mechanics
Appears shorter than listed height; stocky/strong build; thick lower half; big butt; will need to watch bad weight; bad reports on delivery coming in but I thought it was simple and easy; starts with slightly divergent stiff legs from stretch; easy energy creation with slight back bow and high leg pickup; low pickup and some drag in the arm, but showed very good arm speed and action; from high 3/4, able to crate good angle to the plate; slower on the release (1.35-1.44 with runners on first; 1.45-1.5 with runners on 2B); good PHP (fielding) but wild on the throwing execution (error on wild throw with runner in scoring position and two outs); maintained composure despite needing to get 4/5 outs an inning (poor defense).

Pitch Type Future Grade Sitting Velocity Peak Velocity Report
FB 65 92-94 95 Sat comfortable in 93-95 range in six inning start; lots of 94s and 95s; easy velocity delivered from sharp angle; some arm-side movement but not plus; didn't lose velocity during outing; command is below-average at present and found barrels; has some command projection (average); lefty velo and easy release to play to plus with improved location ability; could spike a bit in relief
CB 50 74-75 76 Round offering with big, vertical tumble; breaks early and lacks big bite but can fool fastball-only bats; was bat-missing pitch in outing; 10/4 shape; stole a few strikes with it to RH; had some feel for throwing it for strikes and tightening the rotation for more intense action but less feel for location (for chase); below-average at present but not without promise; could get to average with better utility/command.
CH 50 80-82 82 Limited look; wasn't impressive in start but potential because of ease of delivery and disguise potential; at present, too deliberate with offering; slows body and arm in the release; can see grade improvement because of arm action and zip on fastball that will force bats to move early; missed arm-side and up; would flatten out and show limited action; didn't turn it over well; despite limited look and poor showing, feel good that the pitch can find its way to at least fringe-average.
Overall

Stocky arm strength lefty with simple delivery; maintains velocity deep into starts; 93-95 in 5th/6th inning of work; below-average command profile at present with some room to improve; won't be sharp command type but should be able to throw strikes; curveball is effective short-season offering and can play to average with more intensity in the finish; too round and detectable in its present state; changeup was poor in outing but promise is there; starter profile but likely reliever future; wasn't blown away with pitchability; good candidate for weak contact cutter; wrong org for that developmental addition; back end starter potential with better chance for middle-relief if velocity holds and a secondary pitch reaches potential.
