Mechanics
Large body; very tall; looks country strong; very high slot; almost over-the-top; delivery is relatively smooth and easy; creates a steep plane; some release points inconsistency; didn't always finish; some arm drag; low ball pickup; 1.20-1.25 to the plate with runners on; elbow surgery on resume.

Pitch Type Future Grade Sitting Velocity Peak Velocity Report
FB 60 91-93 94 Shows plus velocity; works 92-93 mostly; touched 94; high release creates good plane/angle to the plate; not a ton of movement on the pitch; some arm-side wiggle; plays heavy; command is below-average and brings down grade at present; not a pitch that can survive the zone; finds too many barrels to be a true plus pitch at present; chance to get there with improved command.
SL 50 81-84 87 Poor command of the pitch at present; short break; more vertical drop than sharp tilt; can show some depth but wasnt consistent in sample; struggled to find his release point and would start the pitch too far glove-side against RH; flashed average potential with better command.
CH 50 85-86 86 I actually liked the changeup more than the SL; smaller sample. Good deception in the arm speed and arm-side fading action; good pitch against LH; command is loose all-around but could play as an average offering.
Overall

Big, physical body; throws from high slot and creates a steep plane; raw stuff is slightly above-average; everything plays down because of 40 grade command; finds too much of the zone and cant escape barrels; fastball shows plus velocity; slider isn't a big weapon; changeup isn't just a throw-away pitch; has some merit (good arm-side action and arm speed deception); ceiling is limited by command and lack of impact, late-innings stuff; triple-A relief floor; middle relief ceiling.
