Tool Future Grade Report
Hit 60 Above-average bat speed; quick and quiet hands; sometimes hands will drift; great hand extension, balanced swing, barrels the ball; small load; displays approach of a contact hitter; locked up on a decent breaking ball; clearly needs to see more repetitions at the plate to put together more consistency.
Power 30 Minimal power; not a factor in his game at this time; gap-to-gap hitter; minimal arc in swing.
Baserunning/Speed 60 Plus speed; 3.99 on bunt single; second-gear agility is elite; fluid legs; true threat on the base paths; speed is an asset in CF.
Glove 70 Plus-plus center fielder defensively; tremendous range; excellent reads; elite agility; ability to track balls in both gaps; great first step; shows awareness of fence; instincts are high.
Arm 40 Fringe arm; not much muscle currently and small framed; accurate throws.
Overall

Hart is a terrific athlete with all the tools to become a spark-plug atop a lineup in the majors. His defense alone will get him to the highest level, but the bat has a long ways to go and he will need to see plenty more repetitions in the minors before he sees the light of the majors. Overall, his game has been impressive, but in flashes.
