(James from NYC)
|No idea. He's a really difficult guy to peg right now, because we just simply haven't seen him even up against appropriate competition yet. Once we get some stateside looks and figure out a legit level of competition for him, we'll have a better sense of how advanced he is or isn't. The DSL games he played this summer, while important for getting him some reps and easing him into things, weren't really all that helpful for determining any of those things. (Wilson Karaman)|

(edwardarthur from Illinois)
|Not much. Should make his way stateside early next year and I'm looking forward to seeing him firsthand in Spring Training 2018. (Collin Whitchurch)|

(Polanski from Ohio )
|We got our first eyes on Maitan last weekend, and without spoiling anything that hasn't been written yet, the conversation in our Slack was...whelming. At least in terms of rawness and gap between present and future. The tools are impressive, particularly the fundamentals of the swing. He yanked a hammy today, incidentally.
I'm not sure you can go wrong with either, the ceilings on both are stupid. I'd lean Robert marginally for timeline reasons, but I'm not sure I see a ton of daylight between their present dynasty valuations. They're both figments of your imagination. (Wilson Karaman)
