2017-07-06 12:00:00 (link to chat)Got a favorite out of this mish mash of low level prospects? Monte Harrison, Khalil Lee, Yanio Perez, Brandon Marsh, A.Gimenez, Nolan Jones, Jake Gatewood
(Nose Pincher from Florida)
If this is a fantasy question, I'd go after Harrison's offensive upside, and he's actually one of the closer guys there to major league horizon. For prospect list purposes I think Gimenez was probably closest to making the 50, although he wasn't all that close. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2017-06-27 20:00:00 (link to chat)Brandon Marsh or Khalil Lee as a young building block in a dynasty league?
(tom from NH)
I suppose if forced to pick I'd pick Lee, but how deep a league are you in to be looking at these guys as building blocks? (Jarrett Seidler)
2017-05-18 13:00:00 (link to chat)What can you share about Monte Harrison and Khalil Lee?
(CL72 from Missouri)
Both are good athletes and sometimes those guys pop hard when they start to put it together. Harrison is also finally healthy, but this has always been in there. Lee might have some growing pains as he sees better stuff, but he has a case as the best prospect in the Royals system. Oh, Craig is an Argentina at the moment, but wants me to remind you that #healwaysbelieved in Monte Harrison. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2017-05-04 13:00:00 (link to chat)Is Khalil Lee a top 100 guy for you yet? If not, what the heck are you waiting for? :) Thanks.
(Kasey from Omaha)
I don't move that much off a month of performance. That said, he was always a potential breakout guy this year, so I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up there next January. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2017-04-28 13:30:00 (link to chat)Hi Craig, Are there any sleepers in the lower minors that you are excited about?
(Gerry A. from Toledo)
Not to be difficult but it's hard for me to know what's considered a sleeper anymore. We have guys like Sixto Sanchez, Khalil Lee, etc who are far from proven but well-known depending on the who you read and the depth of your league. So probably yes! But I hate to answer with guys that everyone is aware of. (Craig Goldstein)
2016-08-18 13:00:00 (link to chat)Have you heard anything on Khalil Lee? He didn't make your draft 125 on BP but is off to a nice start in AZ.
(kcshankd from Cascadia)
Lee juuuuuuuuust missed the top 125. I think he ended up like 126 or 127, and to be honest, he should have. I was just unsure because scouts were so torn on where he was going to end up. It sure looks like the Royals made the right call in making him an outfielder. In a system without a ton of offensive upside, he offers it. (Christopher Crawford)
