Obviously a lot of injury risk, but do you see the A's looking to move one of their relievers in a package for another bat?
(Tom from Madison)		Someone is going to have to go somewhere if they keep doing this, but I'm just not sure who they are going to move. It was smart of them to wait until the market died down a little though. You know a reliever is going to get hurt in the spring or a team won't have as many quality options as they thought they did. (LyleCox from Cleveland)		Skip closers, the Tigers should be desperate for relief help in general, and one high-profile signing by itself doesn't fix the pen. If anything, they're better off penciling in Zumaya as the guy who gets the most save opportunities, accepting that they have a bit of lefty help already in hand, and could use a power right-hander. (Tommy from Outsperswing)		It's a value equation. "Cardiac Dan" has been supplanted as an 8th inning guy/CIW by Grant Balfour, but has good numbers and is seen by the league as a premium setup guy. That has a pretty big value, considering someone like Brian Fuentes would cost a David Price to acquire. If you can trade Wheeler, get a RH bat, and plug in one of the available guys or even Price in September, shouldn't they consider it? (Will Carroll)

(PJ from Montréal)		Hi PJ... yes, but perhaps not as much as you might wish for if you're a Rockies fan. He'll be a free agent at season's end, after all, and while keeping him via arbitration would be great for the acquirer, it's more likely he'll leave for free agency and get a multi-year deal. So the team getting Fuentes is looking at two months with him plus a draft pick. It could turn out well if O'Dowd plays bidders off against one another, especially with this being another seller's market, but that's not guaranteed. (Christina Kahrl)
