DateQuestionAnswer
2016-01-27 19:00:00 (link to chat)Do you think Colin Rea is a good long term pickup in a dynasty league ?
(Ernie from San Diego)
Meh. He's not very exciting. In a deeper league, sure, he could be helpful. But anything shallower than 15 teams and you can probably find something more appealing. (Matt Collins)
2016-01-20 13:00:00 (link to chat)How about ranking MLB-debuting starting pitchers Jorge Lopez, Tyler Duffey, Cody Anderson, Zach Davies, John Lamb, Colin Rea, Mike Montgomery and Jerad Eickhoff for long-term value in a dynasty sim league, if you please? Are there big tiers or divisions there? Thanks for all your time spent on scouting and chats.
(delatopia from the 415)
Lopez is a clear No. 1 to me. After that I'd go Rea, Davies, Lamb, Eickhoff, Duffey, Anderson, Montgomery. (Christopher Crawford)
2015-07-23 17:00:00 (link to chat)Please rank the following pitching prospects...Francis Martes, Joe Musgrove, Anderson Espinoza, Franklyn Kilome, Colin Rea, Chih-Wei Hu, Wei-Chieh Huang
(Festivus313 from Phoenix)
Kilome is ahead of the rest of those guys and then Musgrove but after that this is where my lack of deeper minor league knowledge hurts me. I'd guess Marte, Rea, Huang, and Hu but to be honest I don't have a good feel for where these guys should truly sit. (Mike Gianella)
2015-07-16 20:00:00 (link to chat)Can you give us your opinion on Colin Rea? What's his future look like?
(ColeWhittier from Pasadena)
TINSTAAPP is at the core of my philosophy when it comes to MILB pitchers. If he gets a shot in San Diego, he's worth owning, but the odds of that happening are slim. I have no idea whats going to happen, but Preller is a virtual lock to make some moves in the next two weeks. On Rea specifically, it depends on the size of your league, in shallower formats pitching is so deep it's not even funny. (George Bissell)
