DateQuestionAnswer
2015-02-04 19:00:00 (link to chat)The Nationals have traded a number of pitching prospects the last several years, and some have been regifted (I mean traded again since). I assume Alex Meyer would be number 1, but how would you rank the others of Robbie Ray, Nathan Karns, Brad Peacock, Ian Krol and Tommy Milone? It seems for the most part that the Nats haven't suffered too badly yet.
(HalfStreet from Fairfax VA)
They've certainly chosen the right guys to give away, huh? Meyer is clearly in a tier above anyone else right now. Would probably go Ray, Karns, Peacock, Milone, Krol, but it's not pretty. (Jordan Gorosh)
2011-05-09 13:00:00 (link to chat)Where's Ian Krol? It doesn't looked like he's pitched yet this year.
(Tom from Madison)
Strained forearm in spring training; very similar to the Andrew Bailey issue. (Kevin Goldstein)
2011-03-02 13:00:00 (link to chat)Who do you like to round out the A's rotation out of Brandon McCarthy, Josh Outman, Tyson Ross, Bobby Cramer, and the forever-injured Rich Harden?
(Tom from Madison)
What, you mean in terms of finding a fifth ma to fight for the honor of being fifth starter? Ian Krol's a way's off yet. Pedro Figueroa's coming back from TJS and will start the season on the DL--that has to make him an honorary competitor, no? (Christina Kahrl)
2011-01-03 14:00:00 (link to chat)Outside of Grant Green, Chris Carter, and maybe Ian Krol, is there anyone in the A's system you like?
(Dave from Chicago)
You're missing someone I put in the Top 101 . . . (Kevin Goldstein)
2010-05-28 14:00:00 (link to chat)What are your thoughts on Ian Krol so far?
(Dave from Chicago)
See Thursday's feature on him. (Kevin Goldstein)
2010-04-08 14:00:00 (link to chat)Any compelling reasons to head to Geneva to see Kane County play this summer? I mean, aside from the pork chop sandwich and the fact that they have a better beer selection than either the Cubs or Sox?
(ChuckR from Addison, IL)
There are always compelling reasons! Max Stassi is a huge reason, local product Ian Krol could be a good arm, and while guys like Dixon, House and Richard all have their share of holes, it's also probably the most athletic outfielder in franchise history. (Kevin Goldstein)
