DateQuestionAnswer
2020-09-02 13:00:00 (link to chat)Are there any pending FAs whose value could vary significantly based on their destination?
(Jake from NY)
Trevor Bauer (1-year deal man himself). GABP is a difficult place to pitch so he could end up in a better situation or, well, Colorado.

DJ LeMahieu may regress a bit outside of NY.

Joc Pederson could finally receive everyday ABs (probably not, though)

Closers like Kirby Yates, Liam Hendriks, Ken Giles, and Alex Colome may end up on a team in which they do not close.

No obvious other big names that could see a change in value. Realmuto, Springer, Ozuna, and Semien are also FA after the year. (Jesse Roche)
2019-08-21 13:00:00 (link to chat)Is Nelson Cruz the most undervalued player in fantasy? Good grief.
(Jessica from NYC)
He's definitely undervalued, probably due to his age, but I'd currently give that award to either DJ LeMahieu or Cruz's teammate Max Kepler. (JP Breen)
2018-12-12 17:00:00 (link to chat)What kind of mid rotation arm should I target as I try to deal DJ Lemahieu and Jaimer Candelario?
(Strelow from Lockport)
format dependent (i'm assuming this is a deeper league with these two), but i'd go with Alex Wood. (Mike Gianella)
2017-09-18 23:00:00 (link to chat)When will Yoan Moncada become a better fantasy 2B than DJ LeMahieu? Also, speaking of the Rockies...Charlie Blackmon....my word, what a season he is having.
(matzabal from CO)
I wouldn't put that past him next year, but let's call it 2019 - when LeMahieu's counting bills from his 3/$40 deal with the Pirates - to project eclipse. The thing about guys with his skill set is that he just doesn't have to hit *that* much in order to create a bunch of fantasy value on account of the pop and speed components. (Wilson Karaman)
2015-08-12 13:00:00 (link to chat)IIRC both Arenado and DJ LeMahieu were considered poor defensive players as prospects. How much of their improvement is their own (ie make up) and how much credit does Colorado's coaching/PD staff deserve?
(JG from Sacramento)
A great question. I think you have to give the Rockies a little credit -- particularly with Arenado -- but ultimately it comes down to the players doing the work. The improvement Arenado has made is just...it's borderline unreal. He's sensational. (Christopher Crawford)
2014-07-03 19:00:00 (link to chat)I am so up in the air about 2B and SS where to look for the future in Dynasty league. Can you rate the following. DJ LeMahieu, Marwin Gonzalez, Brian Dozier Jordy Mercer,. Thank you for the time you put into this. As of now I have Doizer at 2nd and Mercer at SS with Jose Reyes.
(OB1 from NYC)
Woof.

Dozier, Marwin, DJ, Jordy. (Mauricio Rubio)
2013-02-27 20:00:00 (link to chat)Any of these hitters worth a flyer in an NL only standard 4x4 league? DJ LeMahieu, Adeiny Hechavarria, or Jordany Valdespin.
(Johnny T from The Hills)
All three are worth fliers, we're talking NL-only. Valdespin probably has the highest ceiling if he can get playing time because of the HR/SB combo. Hechavarria should play, but yawn on the stats. (Mike Gianella)
