2019-08-23 15:30:00 (link to chat)Some fringe guys I would like your thoughts on -- Adrian Morejon, Logan Webb, Peter Lambert, Joe Palumbo, Patrick Sandoval.
(The Colonel from Pasadena, CA)
I think Morejon doesn't really belong in this group. He's got a higher ceiling than the rest. Lambert is a big Jeffrey guy, but I think it's more mid-back rotation than anything. I think Palumbo might be in the same bucket as Lambert but with more strikeouts, so from a fantasy angle that's my preference. He might end up a reliever. Sandoval I just need to watch more of, but my sense from prior to the season was he's probably a reliever? I have no thoughts on Logan Webb. (Craig Goldstein)
2019-07-31 12:00:00 (link to chat)Do you think Adrian Morejon still has a shot at TOR kind of guy? His stuff doesn't seem to be playing up yet. On another note, any underrated pitching prospects you can think of?
(Jake from SD)
Yes, I think he has that kind of stuff and has showed it throughout this year. Bigger question to me is whether he will hold it deep into games/deep into seasons. I talked about Edward Cabrera earlier and I don't think he gets enough national shine. (Craig Goldstein)
2019-02-06 21:00:00 (link to chat)I'm sure you get this question all the time, but if you had to put a Tomo Ohka comp on any currently active minor leaguer, who would it be?

2018-02-23 20:00:00 (link to chat)Do the Padres plan on being aggressive with Adrian Morejon, and does Raimel Tapia become a regular this year? Figured I'd get both out of the way at once.. Thanks!
(Ron from Texarkana)
Given what the Pads did with Morejon last season, it seems reasonable to assume that they are going to push him as far and as fast as he can go. Tapia’s Opportunity is certainly there, but I don’t see him taking advantage. There are other options in Colorado and I haven’t seen enough from him to think he’ll be able to hold on to a regular gig. (Scott Delp)
2017-07-13 14:00:00 (link to chat)Any guys on the BP Midseason top 50 dynasty prospects list you're higher on than their ranking?
(kjesanis from Maine)
Maybe Austin Meadows? I'm just as scared about his injury history as everyone else, but I think he could be special when he's on the field. I also love me some Adrian Morejon. (Mark Barry)
2017-06-27 20:00:00 (link to chat)Jarrett, So just who will be the #1 prospect in baseball be in 2021?
(Cal Guy from Cal)
I guess I have to answer one of these, right?

Give me Adrian Morejon. (Jarrett Seidler)
2017-03-16 13:00:00 (link to chat)Hi Matthew, absolutely love the chats - thank hou for taking my question. I would like to hear your tboughts on Adrian Morejon of SD. I have read some pretty good things but it appears that not many have really seen him enough yet. Thanks, Mike
(meswan from TX)
I just heard some stuff about him! Working in the mid-90s, advanced feel, breaking ball is in the arm... the Padres have gone nuts in the IFA market, and I think it's going to pay off hugely. They're doing it right, not just betting big but placing many bets. Morejon has a lot of people excited already. He'll be on top 100 lists next spring, barring TJ. (Matthew Trueblood)
