2020-09-16 13:00:00 (link to chat)What do you make of Nick Solak going forward?
(Not Levi Weaver from Not Dallas)
Extremely concerned about the lack of slugging in his batting line right now, but the ingredients (exit velocity, launch angle, etc.) all look fairly encouraging? People were making too much of his short stint last year but I would be very surprised if he isn't a good hitter in the long term. (Craig Goldstein)
2019-08-23 15:30:00 (link to chat)Why so little prospect buzz for Nick Solak? He seems a plus in hit and power. Is his defense bad?
(Ryan Express from Los Angeles)
Someone didn't read the Call-Up. (Craig Goldstein)
2019-08-26 13:00:00 (link to chat)Nick Solak vs. Trent Grisham. Who would you rather have in a roto league for the next few years?
(M from Texas)
It's still Grisham, for me, but it's closer than I would've thought, like two weeks ago. (Mark Barry)
2018-01-31 14:00:00 (link to chat)Is Nick Solak playing himself onto another team's roster? Yankee fans are scarred by Refsnyder, but Solak seems passable at 2nd and continues to hit and take walks everywhere he goes, but he's so far down the depth chart. Where do you think he ends up?
(Sam from Pittsburgh)
Man, he just hits. I don't think he's great at 2B, so I'm guessing he'll get some time in the OF this year. But that doesn't really make him less blocked. If he keeps hitting, though, life will find a way. (Mark Barry)
