2016-06-23 14:00:00 (link to chat) | If the Yankees are indeed planning to sell off guys to get younger, what young players are you particularly excited about already in the organization that will get a chance to prove themselves? (Sean Martin from NJ ) | As I touched on earlier, Judge is one of those guys. I'd also like to see Ben Gamel get another shot at the bigs, and we may get a look at guys like Brady Lail and, hopefully, Severino will come back up at some point. (Nicolas Stellini) |
2016-04-22 13:00:00 (link to chat) | Who are some under the radar guys who could be big prospects for the Yankees next year? (Greg from DC) | Ben Gamel kind of came out of nowhere last season, and could be a surprise prospect with some more production this year. Dustin Fowler is a guy that might help in 2017, though he's a bit higher in the prospect rankings. Maybe I'll go with Brady Lail or Cale Coshow if I have to dig down a bit. (Kenny Ducey) |
2014-10-13 13:00:00 (link to chat) | I saw your review on Brady Lail a while back and I was pleasantly surprised at how positive it was. Is he one of the better "sleepers" in the Yankee org? (Jesse from Oregon) | Yeah, I'd say he qualifies as a solid sleeper, I was pleasantly surprised too. I'd like to see him miss a few more bats, but there's something there for sure. (Jeff Moore) |
